Both kids had a pretty good day. Things are pretty different here. Block schedule. That means that you have a schedule that runs based on 8 days, 4 classes a day. In essence, classes meet every other day. Same classes as they would be taking in CA just arranged differently. Most interesting is that Alex is going to be taking Classical Guitar (cool) and Syd will be taking Algebra (ugh).
Along that same line, our plan is to try and live with just one car. We're actually close enough to school that they could walk but this time of year, it's pretty freaking warm. So, Julie and I will drop them off and then I take Julie to work and she gets a cab home. Good for me and the kids (I pick them up too), maybe not so much for her. Still working out the bugs in that system.
