Ok, so now I have normal telephones for the house and for the Vonage. The phone number if you are calling from the US is the same as it was in CA, 925.236.2379. Just remember, we are 12 hours ahead of NC and 15 hours ahead of CA.
Now for the coup de grace (that's French, Sydney), the Slingbox is working! Thanks to Kimmy in K'ville. You all know, Kim. She's the girl I keep on retainer as my US Technical Advisor! She just wishes I would actually pay her!
Seriously, It took someone with her talents and level of skill to be able to figure out what the problem was. Now we can watch American TV (wait, is that a good thing?). We're still limited to watching on a PC (for the time being) but but least now we can catch preseason football.
